Bougainvillea

Bougainvillea comes in a wide variety of colors. Pinks, red, orange, and even white blooms are common on this vine.  In Southern California we see it growing everywhere from ditches along side of the highway to parks.

I love how it makes a natural trellis.  It's soft and fragile petals are like angel wings.  There is no smell from this vine but the burst of color makes it a stunning addition to any garden.
