This photo is from May 15, 2003 in Beverly Hills for the American Heart Association charity event. I had a table selling JoAnne Bassett natural perfumes.

I have participated in my charity events with silent auctions and also with a table of my perfumes for sale. I am also available for consultations for Custom Couture Bespoke natural perfumes for the guests.

A few of the charities I have worked with are the American Heart Association, Del Mar Auxiliary “Hats off to Children”, Orange County Cancer Association, and the American Liver Foundation.

I have also participated in various churches, garden clubs, fundraisers, and private charity events. Send me an email if you would like me to participate.  A percentage of my perfume sales is donated to the cause.

Natural Perfume - Descanso Gardens Rose Festival near Los Angeles, California.

I went to the Rose Festival on Sunday, May 25. What a delightful event! Floral artist Alison Franchi and make-up artist Jennifer Aspinall turned a model into a living piece of art decorated with roses, body paint and jewels. An homage to the gardens at Versailles. What a fabulous job! This model would fit right in with my Royal Collection of natural perfumes.

I was so enchanted with the rose garden, the California native gardens, the tall oaks, the water falls, the rhodies and camelias blooming that I forgot to take photos. The natural perfume of the roses in the 80 degree afternoon sun was amazing. The ride on the train past koi ponds and wonderful large trees was fun. The Boddy house was also interesting and the hike through the forest to get there was great.

I made this perfume for myself last year and have enjoyed wearing it so much! I decided to share it with the world. The Spring Equinox is a great time to launch this fabulous floral. She is loaded with expensive botanicals, and oud increases the wow factor.

CARDIFF BY THE SEA, CA—November, 2012—JoAnne Bassett, an independent perfume house providing 100% natural fragrances, has officially launched The More Life Collection on November 13, 2012.

This 100% Natural Perfumes collection has some masculine fragrances, an old style chypre, an orange blossom based floral, and other delights. The collection consists of Ecstasy, Intimacy, Italian Smoke, Opulence, Serendipity, and Vert.

There are six natural eau de parfums in organic grape alcohol in 1 ounce spray bottles.  I chose five of the fragrances for parfums in organic jojoba oil which come in hand blown glass bottles that can be collected with the Limited Edition Collection.

JoAnne Bassett provides hand blended artisanal botanical fragrances.  She is a Couture Natural Perfumer creating one of a kind Custom Bespoke Perfumes.

Father's Day Fragrances

When I think of what I want my man to smell like....Napoleon eau de parfum comes to mind.  It has a masculine feel...it smells like tobacco, fine herbs, vetiver, cistus, myrrh, vintage jasmine sambac, cedarwood, and others.

This fragrance is tenacious. It is lively, deep, and sensuous as was the man.

I love flowers!  There is a house down the street that has pink with white amaryllis flowers almost covering the front yard.  These bulbs are so welcome in my space.  This is a bulb that bloomed in my yard in the desert. Isn't it lovely?

We have been having some rain...and everything is flowering and getting all leafed out...is that a word?
