For my Natural Perfumers Guild Home for the Holidays project I chose to create an all natural perfumed candle. I did not want a holiday fragrance that competed with the Christmas tree that shouted pine tree overkill. I wanted to create a comfort scent that was warm and inviting.

I love the smell of pipe smoke, wing back chairs, fireplaces with fires burning in a home library. So with that thought I created a lovely exotic candle that recreates the pipe tobacco fragrance, wild orange for a citrus lift that goes so well, jasmine grandifolium for sensuality, and sandalwood for the powdery wood smell that we all crave. The Exotica candle was born.
