It has been a fun ride but the time has come to post a final farewell.  It has been a sweet, fragrant journey that at times was floral and others was more citrus and light. The archives will remain here but there will  not be any new posts.

I have created Custom Bespoke Natural Perfumes for over 20 years. People are always asking me “How did you know that I love gardenia”? How did you know that I like ….fill in the blank.  It is because I am clairvoyant and I can tap into your energy and receive the information I need to make your perfume that you will love!  Yes I create beautiful custom perfumes that you will love.  This is true for men and women.

There are two ways I work : the first is I create a perfume that is purely for your enjoyment!  You love to wear it and feel very special doing so.  It is your signature scent…no one else on the planet has one like this.  It makes you feel confident and beautiful.  The second is I create a bespoke perfume that will help you transform, that can potentially ease any physical or emotional problems. It may not smell perfect to you but you are able to wear it… it will do what your body needs.  It may have more resins or woody smells than what you are used to. This perfume can be worn at night or under clothes and be working with your chemistry.

 

Generally the second perfume will work its magic and in six months or so I get a request for another custom perfume for them.  They are ready to move on to the next level.  Which could mean they are now ready for the perfume that makes them feel like a king or queen..not the prince or princess.  They have stepped up their game and have said yes! My collection of rare and precious oils goes back a long time. I have some rare and precious oils that I will never sell. Some oils I am making available are oils in stock that I have quite a bit of. These are used for Custom Couture Parfums and also for some of my perfumes and eau de parfums. It is time to release them and you will get the opportunity to experience them.

When I had my perfume boutique in La Jolla, CA I would have a meditation class on Friday nights and Saturday mornings. This is where we would experience the powerful energy of these oils. My students would buy small quanities of these oils.

Do You Want A New Fragrance For Summer?

Summer is here and the living is easy....With the change of seasons we also have a change in fragrance wardrobe...What was appropriate for Spring and cooler temperatures is not the best choice for those steamy summer days and nights...

So to kick off summer I suggest trying some samples of citrus and floral fragrances..they seem to do well in the heat of the day....My samples start at $5.00.

Venus Amber eau de parfum

I created this lovely all natural fragrance on the rare Venus Transit on June 5, 2012. This is a masculine, amber fragrance and is filled with love. Venus energy is love energy.

There are 25 distinctly different essential oils and absolutes that comprise this natural perfume.
It has a musky, spicy, amber accord. The soft powdery, drydown of the vanilla and benzoin gives way to the musky, ambrette seed and frankincense, cedarwood, cistus, and labdanum classic goodness.

Bay rum plays with rosewood, sage, cinnamon, and cardamon...to create a spicy melange.
The citrus notes of bergamot, blood orange, lemon,and yuzu add that extra lift, zing, and sparkle. The wonderfully sensuous jasmine and rose de mai accord play with your heart. The other special oils form a bond that holds it all together. Be touched by the love of Venus.

There are no synthetic fragrance oils, nature identical oils, or man made fragrances of any type in these natural perfumes. They contain genuine essential oils and absolutes that have been extracted from the plants or cold pressed from the fruits in an organic grape alcohol base.

Synthetic Fragrances Actual Costs

My natural fragrances have quite a different cost analysis.  The juice is much more expensive.  Real Bulgarian rose otto, tuberose, vintage jasmine, vintage Mysore sandalwood, boronia, osmanthus, mimosa, neroli, and oud are very expensive oils to use in perfume. 

My eau de toilettes contain 8% of the natural oils, the eau de parfums contain 16%, and the parfums contain 32% to 38% and the rest being organic grape alcohol or organic jojoba oil.  My 100% natural juice costs are in the range of $20.00 per bottle and higher.

The old adage...you get what you pay for.

Wonderful Fragrant Wednesday

I adore my vintage Bulgarian rosa damascena (damask) variety alba rose otto.  I am so grateful that I made a decision to buy kilos of organic white rose otto years ago.  If you look at my collections you will see I use it in many of my formulas.  The white rose is the "flower of light" and the highest vibration.  You can feel the beautiful energy in my perfumes.  Rose opens the heart chakra and makes you feel beautiful. Who doesn't want that?

NATURAL PERFUME WORKSHOP

Are you ready for a new natural fragrance without all of the toxic synthetic chemicals? Join me for a Natural Perfume workshop that will change the way you look at fragrance. 

During this class we will explore the essential oils and absolutes on a blotter paper and discuss the scent classification, the attributes of each essence, and the benefits of the oils.

We will build accords, discuss blending a scent for a purpose or a themed essence, etc. We will discuss creating the scent drop by drop and the bases that can be used.

There will be question and answers throughout the process.

Includes: Scent Classification sheet, Oil Classification Guide, and Fragrance Family Classification sheet.  A 1/8 oz - 3.75 mls of perfume you create in class to be taken home.

In this fun workshop we will delve deeper into making accords. Top note, heart note, and base accords and all accord combinations will be created.

I offer a Perfume Kit that contains essential oils and absolutes, supplies, and instructions.
