With the price of rose otto skyrocketing I thought I would offer a beautiful soft white rose that has mellowed like fine wine...it is really a treat..I call it Angel's Breath.

The Bulgarian Alba (white) rose is a very rare rose that I love. It is the “flower of light”. I have vintage 1999 organic and sell the rose oil - the otto for 5 mls for $300.00 or 2.5 mls for $150.00

The hydrodistilled essential oils are very rare as it takes a huge quanity of flowers or raw materials to create drops of the hydrodistilled oil..It is very concentrated and has a much higher vibration than steam distilled essential oils. These oils are absolutely beautiful. I use these in my precious perfumes and to meditate with. I have a very large amount of money invested in all of these oils and it is time to share more of them with the world. This is a rare treat.

Blue lotus is actually a violet colored lotus and is a small flower that blooms in the afternoon. Krishna – God and spirituality is the association with it. I have blue lotus hydrodistilled oil from 2000. 1 ml is $200.00. I have 2 mls left.

Wonderful Fragrant Wednesday

I adore my vintage Bulgarian rosa damascena (damask) variety alba rose otto.  I am so grateful that I made a decision to buy kilos of organic white rose otto years ago.  If you look at my collections you will see I use it in many of my formulas.  The white rose is the "flower of light" and the highest vibration.  You can feel the beautiful energy in my perfumes.  Rose opens the heart chakra and makes you feel beautiful. Who doesn't want that?

Some Things Change, Some Stay The Same

I recently looked at this cover of Womans Home Companion magazine.  It is from June 1905.  It cost ten cents. That is amazing in that most magazines today are selling for $5.00 or more an issue. 

On the lower left side of the cover it says "The Three Most Beautiful Roses". What never changes is our appreciation of beautiful flowers and their lovely scent. I so love reading about different varieties of new hybrid tea roses and growing the best smelling ones. What does change is the fact that they are now creating more "beautiful" roses and breeding out the scent.  We tend to like perfect flowers and the scent is apparently not the most important thing.  Not in my world.  How about you?
